Since early 2000s, I’ve been working in Series using simple objects such as houses, boilers, corks, bottles, steels, and pipes as subjects for my paintings. I feel a close affinity to these common everyday objects; they are the themes of my stories and reflect my personal journey in the last decade. Recently, I’ve begun to explore the spatial arrangement and relationship of shapes, forms, and colors in a two dimensional sphere. The more intrigue and complex the today’s world is, the more I appreciate the simplicity and the basic element of life.
