Jane Gottlieb has used her explosive colorist skills for the past twenty-five years to hand-paint vivid colors on her Cibachrome prints, altering reality with images that surprise and intrigue.  Now she scans her one-of-a-kind hand-painted prints, enhances them with Photoshop and produces limited edition archival digital prints. Gottlieb has been exhibited worldwide in many one-person shows including the: Butler Institute of American Art, Laguna Art Museum, Petersen Automotive Museum, Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History, Monterey Museum of Art, Carnegie Art Museum in Oxnard, CA, Laband Art Gallery at Loyola Marymount University, Louis Stern Gallery in West Hollywood, Nancy Hoffman Gallery in New York and L'Image Gallery in Rome, Italy. Among the collections in which her art is represented are the: Orange Count Museum of Art, Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation and Brookings Institute in Washington, D.C. Two museum exhibition catalogues and two books have been published of her art, Garden Tales and Car Tales. I am very proud to announce that I have 60 large artworks on exhibit for ten years at UCLA!! I filled the Ucla Law Library & one plus floors of the Anderson School of Business....including a new 5' x 10' piece "My Bilbao".
