Watercolor Competition Exhibition

Art Addiction Online Gallery (www.artaddiction.net) is pleased to announce our 1st Annual Watercolors Competition Exhibition, one-year on display beginning with the date of the inclusion. The event  is open to all fine artists, amateur and professional, from all countries. The theme is open, with registration and submission online.

AWARDS: 50 outstanding watercolors will be selected for the prizes.

Prizes and values are as follows:
•  Grand Prize /Two-pages in Masters Of Today Collections. Value $4275 | Euro 3190
•  2nd Prize | Prize of Excellence /One-page in MOT Collections. Value $2220 | Euro1690
•  3rd Prize | Honorable Award /47 artists will be awarded for Diploma of Excellence.
We send out a monthly [digital] files of artists in our displays to very important customers, collectors and art lovers interested in buying art. If art buyers are interested in purchasing any artwork featured on Art Addiction, they need to contact the gallery via e-mail. Prizes offered are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

ELIGIBILITY: International. To be eligible to include WATERCOLORS you must first complete and supply a valid entry form. Entry forms can be downloaded by visiting www.artaddiction.net or by saving the attached PDf form (click here).

The Gallery reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to cancel any entry which does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

HOW TO ENTER | SUBMIT: Submissions accepted via email (to annual@artaddiction.net).
•  Print out the PDF entry form from our website and fill it out legibly, by saving the attached PDf form (click here).
•  Submit via email a minimum of 4 image files, and up to 8 total, JPG format, resolution 72 dpi, approx 900 pixels wide.

•  Each image file must be titled in this order: title, year, technique, size and price.
•  All entries must consist of the fully completed Entry Form including the proof of entry fee payment receipt. One-year on display beginning with the date of the inclusion.

DEADLINE: All entries must be received by January 2012 or as soon as possible.

ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is $50 | Euro 40 for 4 works /image files (minimum). You may add additional works /image files for $10 | Euro 8 a piece up to 8 total. You must submit a minimum of 4 image files to be reviewed with a artist’s statement (optional). Payment must be made by PayPal, WU and direct transfer in U.S. Dollars and Euros. Entry fees are non-refundable.

The Annual Watercolors Competition Exhibition is our gallery program’s annual fundraiser and the entry fees help to support our gallery program offerings throughout the year.

NOTIFICATION: The works and the list of accepted artists will be posted on on our gallery website immediately after the acceptance. Selected artists will be notified by email.

Privacy: Entrants personal information will be held in confidence and will not be made available to any other organization in accordance with the Privacy.

Printed Edition
CATALOGUE: Chose to have a color photograph reproduction of every work on display or include one or several full-pages in Watercolor Printed Edition Catalogue.

•  Color Reproduction in Catalogue from $240 | Euro 190
•  One Full-Page in Catalogue from $590 | Euro 450 x Number of Pages.

The catalogue will contains the following:
•  Introduction and welcome message from the event organizer.
•  Selected WebPages showing the exhibition major artist's profiles.
•  Summary alphabetical list of exhibitors.
•  Exhibitor profiles (textual description of each exhibitor plus their contact details)
•  A ‘buyer’s guide’ where exhibitors are listed.
•  Other details alongside the exhibition.
•  Advertisements promoting the exhibitors.

The format of exhibition catalogues A5-sized or A4-sized  ‘saddle-stitched.

The exhibition organizer is ultimately responsible for publishing the catalogue for their own event.
