Lives and Works in Argentina

My profession is scene painter. I've worked in Bs. As. with several plays as theater as TV. But I've loved to paint too and I began in my artistic career since 1977 with figurative forms still-life and landscapes, and then very slowly I changed my style. During the eighties I've painted the series "Carnival dancing" or "Vocé ja foi a Bahia" or ("Did you go to Bahia?"), an old song of Maria Creuza. The Brazilian images got me the native and sensual carnival in my self and I have very enjoyed with the vibrate color and remember of these days that I passed in Bahia in January. Then my spirit or my mind ran to looking for an art more expressive and I've founded a new form to explain me. I remembered my profession and enjoy and pleasure world of theater maquettes - when I was student at higher school of fine arts- and I incorporated in my art works: the space. Now, there are in it a new form that run beside the creative and magic world of scene painting. In the nineties all my work are called "scene paints-series" and I can talk about my new paint. It's contemporary, abstract and deeply sad, are gray, burnt sienna, black, raw green and white. The image report the old materials rebuilt to offer a new face and a new message employed a variety of unconventional subjects including rubber, plastic, wood and styrofoam in my canvas expressing as my goal the integrating the raw personality of the materials into coherent, legible and understandable whole. I've created imaginative works, sometimes combined with different objects and I've treated to evocate images using a private vocabulary as marble powder, which reflects a new perception.

I have a particular feeling for abstract forms and I employ too natural pigments from iron and copper oxides and clays. Richly and densely figured, my abstractions and collages a vital inner life and intense personal response to reality incorporating a wires elements but never explicitly employing the formal technique.
